Nov. 21 Conference Day 2

Frankly, today was exhausting so I'm going to try to attach lots of pictures and hope they do most of the talking. The morning started with a keynote about integrating sustainability into architecture. It was interesting but not exactly my cup of tea. I'll attach a picture or two of the presentation below. After that, I had three sessions today. The first was titled: "How to Say Zero in Swedish." It was all about Swedish companies and what they are doing to be carbon neutral ahead of the Paris Climate Agreement. That session taught me that I should consider future employment under the job title: Corporate Sustainability Manager. You can tell I tired by the frequency with which I use colons in my writing so I'll continue to move along. My second and third sessions were less intriguing than the first. The were on grid harmonization/renewable storage and how to engage tenants to get them to make energy conscious decisions.

Tonight's activity was a networking event in the Mercedes Benz Stadium, home to the Atlanta Falcons Football Team. It was an awesome opportunity to socialize with professionals and experts in an enormous, LEED Gold certified building. The stadium is a testament to what sustainable practices mean for comfortability and versatility of a space. I've included pictures of this below too.

Tomorrow is the last day of the conference and will be the last day of my blog at least for a little while.
